Detailed Agenda

This session builds on the session AI & GIS: Introduction by focusing on strategies for teaching GeoAI using ArcGIS tools and Esri’s pre-trained deep learning models. We will explore approaches for introducing students to spatial machine learning, raster analytics, object detection, and predictive modeling in ArcGIS Pro. Emphasis will be placed on scaffolding technical complexity, connecting Python-based workflows to conceptual understanding, and aligning GeoAI topics with workforce demand. Participants will gain practical guidance for integrating GeoAI into undergraduate and graduate courses.
