Presentations
- Coastline and S-101 Nautical Chart Optimization Using GeoAI in EcuadorThe presentation addresses advances in Ecuadorian nautical cartography through two complementary processes: automated coastline extraction using geo-AI for medium- to small-scale products, improving the geometric accuracy and cartographic consistency of coastal profile representation; and the migration of electronic charts from the S-57 standard to the S-101 standard, in accordance with IHO guidelines. These initiatives strengthen the interoperability, accuracy, and modernization of official nautical cartography.

- NOAA’s U.S. Mapping Coordination Site: Collaborative Ocean Seafloor MappingLearn how the NOAA Integrated Ocean and Coastal Mapping (IOCM) program has employed Esri’s Experience Builder to host a dynamic and widely used elevation mapping collaboration tool that allows terrestrial, coastal, and ocean mapping stakeholders to submit and view proposed, ongoing, and existing elevation data acquisition areas in tandem with related datasets. The U.S. Mapping Coordination Site also leverages additional Esri technology including StoryMaps and Survey123 to complement site functionality in support of national mapping strategies and regional campaigns across the country.
