From Grain to Glass: The Mapping and Analytics Behind the Beer
Presentations
- The Journey of Beer: From Warehouse to Shelf with ArcGIS and FabricColumbia Distributing is transforming how data powers the beverage industry. Using ArcGIS Pro, Business Analyst, and Network Analyst with Microsoft Fabric and GeoAnalytics, we connect fleet, sales, and market data to reveal how beer moves through distribution, where it performs best, and where growth potential exists. By combining GPS movement, depletion trends, and demographics, we uncover opportunity and strengthen collaboration. Join us to see how Esri’s powerful tools paired with Fabric’s cloud technology turn complex data into smarter distribution and stronger retail strategies.
, Business Development Manager & Program Manager - Market Strategy, Columbia Distributing
- Using GIS to Track On-Farm QualityUsing Arc-GIS we ask over 500 grower-partners to input their farm data through a series of surveys and mapping. We use this data to confirm that the crop has used only Molson Coors approved chemicals to ensure the safety of our product. We also use the GIS data as a historical database for the soil as we keep records year over year and can track what that soil has had applied to it versus the health of the soil overtime. GIS has been crucial in reporting sustainabilty efforts and helping us tell the stories of the American Farmers.
