Detailed Agenda

There is often a disconnect between the work that analysts do when they identify crime trends and hot spots and how that analysis is applied to police operations. In this demo theater presentation, speakers discuss how ArcGIS is used to identify, plan, monitor, and evaluate crime reduction strategies. Using the Crime Problem Management solution, police personnel can interactively create patrol areas, design the tactical plan and assign officers to problem areas, monitor ongoing police activities, and, finally, evaluate outcomes of any place-based policing strategy.
