    Managing underground utilities requires rapid, accurate damage prevention to avoid costly line strikes. The City of Edmond, OK transformed its paper-based 811 locate process into an automated, GIS-centric workflow. By integrating Esri ArcGIS, Trimble Unity Maintain (Cityworks), and Dig-Smart Fusion with OK One-Call OKIE811 web services, incoming locate requests automatically generate mapped work orders across electric, water, wastewater, and traffic layers. This session demonstrates how Edmond eliminated manual ticket sorting, prioritized emergency locates, and improved field documentation.
