Legacy field data collection workflows often create siloed data, inconsistent processes, duplicate effort, and limited visibility across operational teams. As field operations expand, organizations can struggle to scale when critical information remains tied to outdated tools, disconnected workflows, or locally managed edits. Kinetik modernized field data collection by replacing obsolete, inconsistent processes with standardized workflows built in ArcGIS Field Maps and integrated with ArcGIS Enterprise, creating a more connected, scalable, and enterprise-ready approach to field operations.

Reliable pipeline decisions depend on asset data that is complete, correct, and consistent across systems. This presentation shares our reconciliation workflow: joining operations asset records to GIS through a common ID, verifying data facility by facility, and validating pipeline routes against satellite and drone imagery, with GPS-RTK and radio detection re-surveys where routes deviate. We share the mismatches and classification issues uncovered, lessons learned along the way, and how this groundwork supports a future move toward industry-standard data models such as Esri UPDM.
