- 3D Campus Planning: Evolution of the GIS Master Plan at ORNLIn 2024, ORNL’s Laboratory Modernization Division embarked on an ambitious journey to shape the future of their campus with a comprehensive Sitewide Master Plan, envisioning the next 30 years of construction projects. To bring this vision to life and enhance transparency for stakeholders, ORNL integrated cutting-edge 3D GIS models to represent building construction, renovation, and demolition projects in time phases. These dynamic models are linked to specific items in the master plan, allowing for real-time updates to reflect the evolving needs of the campus.

- GISTA and GISCOVERY: GIS Empowering Sustainable Space and Urban DesignTakenaka Corporation has a long history of using GIS in Japan. In recent years, we have been exploring increasingly extensive and profound applications of GIS. GISTA, one of our GIS solutions presented at the 2023 Esri UC, has improved user productivity and spatial efficiency, particularly in office environments. Additionally, we have newly developed another GIS solution called GISCOVERY, which explores and maximizes property potential. Through these GIS solutions, we contribute to future decarbonization and a sustainable society at scales ranging from individuals to cities.
