The California Highway Patrol will discuss their growth as a department after introducing Enterprise in 2021. A small, but mighty, GIS unit enhanced the departments spatial and statistical opportunities by developing standardized maps, digital forms, and dashboards to display critical data in new ways. The first use case of tracking highway violence has pivoted the department to incorporate statistics not only for upper management, but also for key decision making by officers in the field.
