Earth Fire Alliance is a nonprofit coalition dedicated to advancing global wildfire detection and monitoring through unprecedented Earth observation technology. This presentation will provide an overview of the Alliance's flagship program, FireSat, a satellite constellation purpose-built for the global wildfire challenge. Presenters will share details on FireSat’s Early Adopter Program, planned data products, and distribution mechanisms including direct distribution as well as via ArcGIS Online and the Living Atlas. They will also discuss how EFA is deepening partnerships with state and local agencies across the U.S. and expanding internationally—and how your organization can get involved.

ALERTCalifornia aims to use lidar and multispectral data to quantify vegetative fuel load and moisture content before wildfires, provide real-time data during wildfires, and image post-fire landscape changes. Remote sensing data is crucial to developing effective wildfire prevention, response, and recovery plans, especially with the increasing frequency and severity of wildfires in California.
