High rates of overdoses continue in the United States, a problem worsened by the lack of real-time data sharing & reporting across different jurisdictions. The Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) uses Esri's GIS technology to address this challenge, providing near real-time mapping, alerting, & insights for public safety & health agencies. ODMAP, managed by the Washington/Baltimore HIDTA, fosters nationwide collaboration & situational awareness. With over 5,300 agencies & ~3 million overdose incidents reported, it empowers agencies to monitor trends & respond effectively.
