- Our Approach to Affordable and Efficient Management of Large Geospatial Datasets
This solution allows large geodata (PointClouds, OrthoMosaics, BIM models) to be uploaded while capturing corresponding metadata. With the help of FME, the data is processed and made available in the SBB Geoportal (ArcGIS Enterprise on Microsoft Azure). This efficient and cost-effective approach supports different geodata types and allows users to search and directly download data (leveraging Azure Functions) based on attributes and spatial properties. Stored in low-cost Azure Blob Storage, it offers a smart alternative to SharePoint, OneDrive or traditional DMS.
