- A Unique Project for the Indoor Mapping of the Italian Stations
Rete Ferroviaria Italiana is undergoing an ambitious digital transformation process, implementing a huge project for the indoor mapping of all its 2000+ stations, based on ArcGIS Indoors technology. Key elements of the project are the definition of a common interoperable Indoor data model, a massive in-situ collection activity and the integration of SAP-BIM-GIS. The final goal is to unify and streamline all the processes that govern the station’s life with a unique comprehensive and map-centric management system.
