The phrase “digital twins” is bantered about in conversations and vendor presentations at a dizzying

rate. It seems like everyone has a different definition for digital twins. Ron Chapple will demystify digital twins by walking the audience through the history and the

future trajectory of digital twins. The presentation will also include NV5 project analysis of urban and

environmental digital twin projects, how to tell fact from fiction, creating your own roadmap for digital

twin integration, and thought-provoking predictions.

Houseal Lavigne collaborated with South Whitehall Township to visualize development potential in the Jordan Valley using ArcGIS Urban. Following a Comprehensive Plan update, the focus was on creating a zoning overlay balancing growth and environmental preservation. Two scenarios were developed: an existing conditions baseline and an open space conservation scenario prioritizing open space protection. The conservation scenario featured cluster development to preserve open space while maintaining FAR and build-out potential, aligning with community values.
