In Web GIS, all resources are published as web services. While ArcGIS APIs/SDKs are to a large degree wrappers around the REST API, allowing you to access these web services following the conventions of the platform you're working with, you always still have access to the REST API for accessing web services directly. In this session, we will demonstrate to you the best practice techniques for working with the REST API when combining the REST API to a third API.
