  • Implementing A Traffic Work Order System leveraging GIS
    The City of Johns Creek implemented a work order system using GIS for the traffic department to streamline an existing workflow that relied on paper and phone calls. It uses a combination of FieldMaps & Survey123 to take users step-by-step through each part of the process, from generating a work order to closing one out. This eliminated losing physical work orders, established a system of record, and utilizes automated notifications via webhooks. Join me in this session to learn how this system was developed and is changing the way key stakeholders are making decisions regarding these assets!

    The St. Johns County Public Works GIS/IT team has delved into the transformative potential of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Hub; exploring these platforms has revolutionized the department's GIS data organization, strategic implementation, and key performance indicator tracking. Implementing spatial analytics, web maps, and dashboards has allowed us to track KPIs in real-time, making it easier to measure our progress and pivot when necessary. This presentation will showcase how leveraging the ArcGIS platform & an asset management system integration has helped us achieve our strategic initiatives.
