As part of the RenovAIte research project, VIA IMC from Berlin set itself the goal of developing new KPIs to assess the quality of a road in terms of resilience, equipment, safety and the environment. Open data, floating car data, satellite data and others serve as the basis for this. AI is used in part for the evaluation of data, as well as for the prediction of certain KPIs in the case of changing framework conditions. The developed GIS solutions will ultimately serve users as a basis for decision-making.

On behalf of GB infraVelo GmbH, ARC-GREENLAB carried out surveying of 3 of the 9 new rapid cycle routes (RSV). Some sections are facing extensive renovations, which is why it is necessary to collect data on the roads, as well as the surrounding areas. The results of the complex measurement campaign are used to create planning documents for the project. Operations planning, data evaluation and data exchange benefited greatly from the use of ArcGIS Dashboards and ArcGIS Pro. In addition, ArcGIS QuickCapture was used for on-location photo documentation to further streamline workflows.
