- Saving Time Using the Esri Platform in Large Scale Complex City PlanningUsing a wide range of the Esri platform allowed us to quickly create and adjust zonal planning for a large area in the city of Trondheim, Norway. We needed to combine 3D, CAD and BIM-data from up to eight different architect firms with data from several other subject systems and analysis. Planning needed to happen in near real time as preconditions changed and results came in, every day. By combining all the data in ArcGIS we established an updated 3D-model that formed the basis for all our tasks including, 3D zonal planning, visualization, analysis, reports, QA and public interaction.

- Enhancing Architecture & Planning Projects through BIM-GIS IntegrationExplore the transformative impact of integrating BIM and GIS in early stage architecture and urban planning projects. This session explores the use of GIS as a pivotal project platform, enhancing precision in design, providing city-wide context, and facilitating stakeholder collaboration. Dive into how BIM's detailed 3D models and GIS's spatial analysis synergize for optimized decision-making across professions. Understand GIS's role in coordinating diverse stakeholder data and validating design choices. This will be done through a case study of three projects by Sweco in Sweden.
