In 2023, the City of Jacksonville released Resilient Jacksonville an ambitious, visionary strategy that puts Jacksonville in the best possible position to thrive in the face of a changing future. As the largest city in the continental US, Jacksonville leaned heavily on data and science to guide this planning process to develop actions that meaningfully address risks in objective, equitable, and efficient ways. Every corner of Jacksonville was studied, to ensure the actions in the strategy were tailored to the many geographies, communities, and ecosystems that make up Jacksonville.
