Established through the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, and implemented by DHS Management Directive 034-01, the mission of the Geospatial Management Office (GMO) is to provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) geospatial information, systems, and technology provide maximum benefit and strengthen the unified operations and management of DHS.
