- Transforming Oil and Gas Surveillance with RPAS and GIS IntegrationThe oil and gas industry faces ongoing challenges in maintaining asset integrity. Traditional inspections, reliant on manual labor are time-consuming, costly, and hazardous. Integrating Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) and GIS applications has revolutionized this field. RPAS with sensors like Precision Photogrammetry, Infrared, and methane detectors enable early issue detection. GIS allows spatial analysis and creates interactive maps. This paper highlights how RPAS, AI, and GIS transform asset surveillance, improving early issue identification and maintenance prioritization.

- Pipeline Damage Prevention 2.0: A Predictive Model to Prevent Leaks & ExplosionsThis presentation introduces an advanced predictive model for enhancing pipeline damage prevention using satellite data and AI. Through a case study with a global pipeline operator, we showcase how this model effectively prevents deadly leaks and explosions via enhanced asset monitoring. We share results highlighting the model’s highly accurate and relevant intelligence, surpassing traditional helicopter inspections in threat detection. Additionally, we demonstrate how the advanced capabilities of Esri ArcGIS can be leveraged to conduct a more comprehensive and insightful risk assessment.
