- ArcGIS Mission Implementation for Braves, World Series 2021 playoffs
For the 2021 World Series games, the number of police officers roughly doubled that of a typical MLB Atlanta Braves game to handle larger crowds and longer hours. Aside from using existing dashboards and dynamic data already developed, Cobb County staff also implemented ArcGIS Mission. It helped to track the location of roving plainclothes officers working throughout the Battery and the stadium. With command-and-control software, the incident commanders in the operations center could make tactical resource assignments and get real-time updates from the field.
