Fairfax County Police (FCPD) Canine (K9) has a long-woven importance within the history of FCPD. Prior to the implementation of FCPD’s internal enterprise portal,K9 had a rigid 3rd party application.Field and data customization wasn’t available,forcing officers to collect unrequired data while foregoing other valued data.Data was stored internally within the K9 section,reducing the ability of collaboration between other agencies.K9 approached FCPD with their limitations and tasked FCPD for a solution.With Survey 123, Z-Scaler and StoryMaps FCPD was able to work with alongside K9 -

- Leveraging GIS in Non-Traditional Ways to Streamline Law Enforcement Operations
The Pembroke Park Police Department required a single, integrated online solution for tow truck operators to record involuntary tows and a place for the police to analyze the logs. It challenged us as very few out-of-the-box solutions fulfill our client’s requirements. ArcGIS Online provided this seamless interoperability as we could leverage the ease and uniformity in recording tows in Survey123 while developing a powerful tool for the police department to instantaneously access and analyze these records in Experience Builder, thus simplifying and streamlining the process.
