- From Municipal Mismatch to Municipal Boundaries: A Single Source Solution
What happens when multiple state and federal agencies separately collect boundary data from municipalities across a state? The answer involves confusion, mismatched data, and wasted time and effort. The North Carolina Geographic Information Coordinating Council (GICC), pursuing a goal of improving statewide geospatial data and applications, identified municipal boundaries as a priority dataset to focus on eliminating duplication of effort and realizing a single authoritative source for municipal boundary data. Results of this effort will be presented.

The Early Voting Wait Times application provides up-to-date wait time information during our advance voting periods for elections. This web application is necessary to provide a valuable service to eligible, registered Cobb County voters, who would like to cast their ballots, prior to election day. The application is used by employees, management, the board of commissioners and board of elections, media and voters to determine how quickly a voter can cast their ballots,
