- GDOT Project Public Involvement/Outreach Via ArcGIS Hub
As an integral part of GDOT’s Plan Development Process (PDP), public involvement is a mandated process to engage and solicit input from the general public about transportation development. GDOT implemented ArcGIS Hub to change from a “data centric” approach to a “public centric” approach. GDOT created project specific pages to present all project related information at one place, up-to-date mapping, scheduling, and financial data. GDOT developed a draft version of the new portal and is expecting to release it to the public later this year.
