Our team provides GIS services for Texas Health and Human Services Commission. In recent years, we have started using nearly every ArcGIS Online tool, including Survey123 to collect information from requestors, a Hub site gallery to guide decision-making, and a repertoire of Dashboards, StoryMaps, Instant Apps, and more for creating customized resources. In this presentation, we will cover the workflows, tools, and strategies we have used to expand the use of GIS in a public health setting.

- Building an ArcGIS Hub for Actionable Public Health Data in Texas
Texas faces multi-faceted public health challenges which, to overcome, demand research and collaboration within our Texas Department of State Health Services and with our external stakeholders. This has proven difficult without a centralized information portal accessible to those who require actionable data and information to address these challenges. The Regional and Local Health Operations Analytics Group has leveraged an ArcGIS Hub to create a Centralized Analytics and Mapping Portal (CAMP) to address information sharing obstacles and implement effective public health solutions.
