This presentation demonstrates a workflow for creating 3D Mobile Scene Packages in ArcGIS Pro from .IFC files and using it in ArcGIS Earth. Offline access to 3D models empowers refinery operations, enhancing efficiency, safety, and decision-making. ArcGIS Pro's tools refine data, while ArcGIS Earth facilitates immersive visualization, enabling on-site exploration without internet connectivity. The 3D MSPK workflow shows an easy use case for spatial data usage in refineries, promoting sustainability and optimal resource allocation.

Historically, geographic reference material in geoscience is provided as hard copy maps or sections where the author has already determined the relevance of material to be included. Greater value and data confidence can be gained if the user has access to the original digital data. Providing this data as part of a GIS project provides flexibility as the user can make their own choices, curating images based on material important to their area of investigation.
