- Predictive Maintenance from Space
All onshore pipelines require continuous right-of-way monitoring for a variety of natural and anthropogenic hazards. Remote sensing, combined with ESRI's enterprise portal and JavaScript SDK, provide a web application offering an inexpensive alternative to costly ground-based RoW monitoring techniques and enables near real-time and historical data to be analyzed to evaluate potential threats and provide predictive maintenance to help prioritize where resources are best applied to avoid failures.

This presentation will showcase how the integration of satellite data and advanced analytics enabled a US gas utility company to proactively monitor relevant surface changes and potential third-party hazards within and adjacent to its pipeline corridor, resulting in enhanced operational safety and the protection of critical assets. Furthermore, it will demonstrate how the advanced capabilities and resources of Esri ArcGIS can be leveraged to conduct a more comprehensive and insightful risk assessment.
