- Finding Space for Net Zero, Energy Security and Nature Recovery
The Crown Estate is responsible for sustainable development of critical sectors in waters around England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Esri technology has enabled us to complete the most comprehensive analysis and marine spatial planning exercise to date. Our Whole of Seabed approach has identified sectoral demand out to 2050 and detailed spatial analysis has identified the marine areas required to meet that demand. Processes and tools have been developed to combine spatial opportunities into coherent scenarios that enable Net Zero, Energy Security and Nature Recovery.
