This presentation will demonstrate how one operator, bp, is using PODS 7.0 and ArcGIS Pipeline Referencng (AP) to update and standardize their pipeline system or record across the Esri foundation. The second paper will show how information that has been saved in a system or record may be effectively communicated stakeholders. Boardwalk will discuss the implementation of their portal and how they are facilitating access to integrity data across their organization.

- The Migration of PODS 5 to PODS7x with APRbp are in the process of migrating their system of record for Pipelines from PODS 5.2.3 bp Golden Build to PODS 7x bp Golden Build with APR. PODS is implemented globally within 9 regions across 12 SDEs, containing over 70 million records that have a diverse geographic extent, coordinate systems and units of data. The session will take the audience through the thought process behind why upgrade in the first place, the advantages of PODS 7 with APR over older PODS data models, the broad stages of the implementation, unknowns that were presented, and lesson learned through the project.

- ArcGIS Portal Javascript Close Interval Survey Mitigation SolutionClose interval survey's (CIS) are conducted to determine if areas along the pipeline have the potentials for coating issues. Coating issues can lead to corrosion and corrosion can compromise the safety of the pipeline. Similar to ILI, the CIS is typically delivered in Microsoft Excel format with XY coordinates and on\off reading potentials. The challenge for the user is to make sense of information, categorize failure areas, conduct remediations, confirmatory surveys and ultimately management that the entire process is completed. This can exhaustingly manual.
