Routine field asset inspections can be a tremendous drain on resources, at Antero, we’ve put considerable effort into automating and streamlining workflows to make them more timely and cost efficient. In the presentation we’ll describe our use of Survey 123 to capture field observations of our water pipeline system. Users receive automated weekly reports and can also generate ad-hoc reports from the web app utilizing ArcGIS Pro report templates. Through the use of multiple ESRI technologies, we were able to streamline a cumbersome process which resulted in considerable time and money savings.

Marathon Oil's GIS team maintains a complex field road network to help optimize the tasks of our field workers. However, keeping the road network up-to-date can be challenging. To address this challenge, the GIS team has developed a workflow that provides a user-friendly interface for field workers to add new roads. The workflow then incorporates these new road changes into the road network via a daily background process and refreshes the road network for use in applications.
