ArcGIS Pro is an incredibly powerful tools for spatial analysis, spatial data management, map production, and sharing web feature services that can be used in web maps and apps. In this session, we’ll talk about some things that will help you get your ArcGIS Pro life organized. We’ll discuss how to really use Project Templates appropriately, show how to connect to web services, give you ideas on creating custom symbolsets for you organization, and using layer files and layout files to encourage consistency in the maps and apps across your entire organization.

The Arcade Scripting language is used throughout the ArcGIS Platform to manipulate data presented to the user and you don’t have to be a programmer to use it! With a few lines of Arcade, you can create custom pop-ups, do geoprocessing on the fly, manipulate data for symbology, extend the Field Calculator and make advanced label expressions. Do you want to summarize the total production of all of the wells in a specific lease or change the color of pipelines based on an estimated 10% reduction in MAOP? So much is possible. This session will give you the basics to get started with Arcade.
