Pipeline operators are tasked with performing simultaneous initiatives to remain compliant with regulations and reporting requirements and enhance system wide maintenance and safety. Spatial tracking mechanisms communicate information to key decision makers and promote enhanced data visualization to facilitate day-to-day and program level tasks. This presentation explores the approach operators can take to leverage GIS solutions to track and report on TIMP program management.

- Using Esri’s Oriented Imagery Catalog to Enhance Talon360 Patrol Imagery
The presentation will provide a brief overview on the importance of capturing images during aerial pipeline patrols and displaying them in an easy to operate viewer. This presentation will display a series of examples showing how Talon360 oblique images are uploaded into Esri’s Oriented Imagery Catalog using ArcGIS Pro. From here, the OIC is able to be published to ArcGIS Online or Portal and displayed in a customizable map viewer built using ArcGIS Experience Builder. It also shows examples of when this catalog became vital when end user needed to view historical images or project updates.
