This is an opportunity for enhanced utilization of Facilities Engineering Unconventional Development (FEUD) survey and as-built GIS data has been identified in Chevron Mid-Continent Business Unit (MCBU) Performance Improvement initiative. The survey and as-built data are from many survey companies with variety data formats within each survey company. We create the pre-defined standardized templates, how we aligned and received an endorsement by stakeholders, consolidated/centralized data and the web application allows users to see the survey data across MCBU operated areas.

Spatial data collaboration and governance workflows is critical for improving efficiency in processes and workflows across an organization. In fact, spatial data is an important component of a petrochemical and mining organization due to its ability to contribute and effect business intelligence related to engineering asset tracking, asset maintenance, and asset strategies. The ESRI GIS technology provide various tools that can be leveraged to improve efficiency in the organizations’ spatial data collaboration processes and workflows.
