- Chevron Atlas + AI - Enabling Geospatial Analytics and Computer Vision WorkflowsSpecialists from across the org collect & manage imagery and other rich media to support our daily operations. Use cases for extracting valuable insights from this geospatial data range from drones checking for equipment corrosion at refineries, satellite data processed to assess environmentally sensitive habitats, and LiDAR data used to detect methane leaks. As the tempo of collection continues to accelerate, Chevron expects an increase in volume of data. Unlocking insights at scale requires an enterprise standard for cataloging, indexing, and making these data discoverable for our consumers.
