Presentation 1 Abstract:
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) is conducting airborne electromagnetic (AEM) geophysical surveys in California’s high- and medium-priority groundwater basins to support implementation of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). During the presentation, DWR will introduce the Statewide AEM Surveys and highlight their AGOL-based data visualization platform. The AEM Data Viewer uses Point Clouds in a Web Scene to allow the public to visualize and interact with the AEM data in a 3D space. DWR will also discuss an advanced 3D data viewer that is currently under development.
