Madera County Dept. Of Public Health (MCDPH) needed a central spot to share data with the public and partners demonstrating the homeless population barriers to treatment in a short and concise way. The data helped lead to the idea of a Mobile Health van and develop a mobile team that would provide various services to encampments as Madera County contains valley and distant mountain terrain. MCDPH developed a GIS Story Map simplifying a lengthy County Homeless Health Assessment in a way that is easily understood.
